The history of Holiday tree
The history of Christmas tree comes from Germany. In the 16th century devout Germans locate in their homes the decorated trees. Somebody was built Christmas pyramids and then decorated them with candles and plants. Candles was hunged on a Christmas tree by Martin Luther in the 16th century too. Inspiration for candles appears during walking. Martin Luther one December evening saw light of stars twinkling between evergreens.

It’s worth to know that majority of 19th century residents of America treated Christmas trees as oddity. The first record about Christmas tree in that region come from 1830s and say about German settlers as a owners of holiday tree. Somebody say that the German settlers decorated holiday trees even in 1747. However, as late as the 1840s Christmas trees were treated as symbols of pagan and they were not approved by the most of Americans.
The history of Christmas songs
The word „carol” in fact means dance or a song of joy and praise. Initially carols were songs of pagans those were played at the Winter Solstice celebrations when people danced around circles of stone. Christians inspired pagan songs and gave Christian songs. In 129 the song „Angel’s Hymn” was popular and played at a Christmas celebrations in Italy. Another Christmas hymn was created in 760 for the Greek Orthodox Church. Then many composers in Europe started creating Christmas carols. But majority of carols was sung in Latin and because of that many people were not intrested in singing Christmas songs.
